Discover by Bike
Each week, I host a laid-back group ride—either Friday evening or Saturday morning. I’ll post the planned route with a map every Wednesday. These are fun, no-drop rides—whether on gravel, road, or mountain bikes—keeping everyone together as we explore the best of the Hudson Valley and Catskills. Rides will start from different spots: sometimes from my Gardiner or Highland office, sometimes from a random gem to showcase the region. You’ll find the routes, GPS files, and maps right here—and I’ll also announce everything on my Instagram, TheHouseOfJurgen. Come ride, explore, and maybe even spot your future home!

May 1st 5:00 pm - Highland NY Road Ride
Discover by Bike — Highland, NY Ride
This week’s Discover by Bike ride starts right in Highland (Hudson Dwellings Office) and heads out on a mix of quiet backroads that really show why this area is so good on two wheels.
We’ll roll out at a relaxed, no-drop pace—nothing crazy, just a solid ride to get familiar with the area, the roads, and each other. Expect a mix of rolling terrain, a few steady climbs, and some really scenic stretches that make it worth it.
These are the kinds of roads I ride all the time—low traffic, good pavement, and just far enough off the main routes that you start to feel like you’ve got the place to yourself.
Whether you’re new to the area, thinking about spending more time up here, or just want a good ride without the chaos, this is exactly what these rides are about.
